Prof.  Hui Liu

Liu Hui, Ph.D., professor, master's supervisor, member of Jiu San Society, visiting scholar of University of Ottawa, young talent of“Xing Dian Talent Support Program”of Yunnan Province, the first batch of national first-class course leader. He is a senior member of China Computer Society, an expert of National Graduate Education Evaluation and Monitoring Center, a master teacher of Kunming University of Science and Technology, and an editorial board member of Metallurgical Automation and Journal of Iron and Steel Research. He is mainly engaged in the theoretical and applied research on machine learning, soft measurement, image recognition, etc. He has presided over two projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and two surface projects of Yunnan Provincial Science and Technology Department, and has published more than thirty academic papers. In the aspect of teaching, he was awarded the special prize of the Sixth and Seventh Yunnan Provincial Higher Education Teachers' Teaching Competition, the second prize of the Third National Higher Education Teachers' Teaching Innovation Competition, the first prize of the final of the National Higher Education Young Teachers' Lecture Competition in Electronics and Information Technology, and the honorary title of“Star of Wisdom Teaching”of Ministry of Education's Online Education, the first prize of Excellent Case of Hybrid Teaching of the National UOOC Union, and so on. He was awarded the first prize for excellent cases of teaching in the National UOOC Alliance. The catechism course“Introduction to Intelligent Control”is online on Learning Power, China University MOOC, Xuedang Online (Chinese and international), Wisdom Tree, Xueyin Online, UOOC Union and other platforms.
